MAISON VERDE — REFUND & RETURN POLICY

Thank you for choosing Maison Verde Lifestyle. Each product is handcrafted, packed with care, and created in limited batches. This policy outlines how returns, replacements and refunds are handled for orders placed on our website.

1. Returns & Exchanges

Due to the nature of our products — which are handmade, small-batch, and often created to order — we do not accept returns or exchanges for:

  • Used or burned candles

  • Opened products

  • Items damaged due to improper handling or storage

  • Change of mind after purchase

We encourage customers to read product descriptions, fragrance notes, and sizes carefully before placing an order.

2. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we will happily replace it at no additional cost.

To request a replacement:

Include:

  1. Your order number

  2. Clear photos of the product and packaging

  3. A brief description of the issue

Requests submitted after 24 hours may not be eligible for review, as shipping and handling evidence becomes unavailable.
However, requests raised within 24 hours of delivery may still be considered at our discretion, provided all conditions for replacement are met and adequate supporting evidence is available.


3. Conditions for Replacement Approval

A replacement will be processed only if:

  • The issue is reported within the required time window

  • The product arrived damaged or has a manufacturing defect

  • The item is unused and in its original condition

  • All original packaging is retained until the matter is resolved

Minor variations in colour, texture, grain, or hand-painted detailing are natural to artisanal products and are not considered defects.


4. Refunds

Refunds are issued only in exceptional cases, such as:

  • The product is unavailable after the order is placed

  • A replacement cannot be arranged

  • Maison Verde cancels the order due to operational reasons

Approved refunds are processed to the original method of payment within 7–10 business days.
Processing time may vary depending on your bank or payment partner.


5. Order Cancellations

Because our products are handcrafted and prepared or packed shortly after an order is placed, we do not accept cancellations once an order has been confirmed.

6. Items Not Eligible for Return, Refund or Exchange

  • Used or burned candles

  • Custom, personalised or bespoke items

  • Sale or discounted items

  • Products damaged after delivery due to customer handling

  • Opened, tried or partially used products

  • Failed deliveries due to incorrect address details

7. Incorrect Address / Failed Delivery

If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address:

  • Re-shipping charges will apply

  • Refunds are not provided for failed deliveries caused by address errors
